These Art Nouveau facade tiles were procduced at Fábrica de Louça de Sacavém around 1910. This factory produced most of Portugal's Art Nouveau azulejos, under the guidance of Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro. Both the central tiles and the green border tiles in this photograph are in slight relief, as was the fashion of the time.
